With over fifteen years of experience in brand development, identity strategy, naming, design management, marketing communications and business development, Jon has applied his expertise on both client and agency sides. His previous positions include Senior Communication Manager at The North Face and Associate Partner at the internationally acclaimed brand consultancy Pentagram Design. Jon’s creative mindset and practical approach have given him a proven ability to develop and implement successful brand programs for startups, Fortune 100 corporations and cultural and educational institutions. Clients for whom Jon has personally managed brand and communication programs include: the California Academy of Sciences, Google, Safeco Insurance, Symantec, and University of California, Berkeley among others. His educational and professional credentials include a B.A. in Philosophy from Hamilton College and membership in the AIGA and the AMA. He received a certificate from AIGA’s Business for Design Leaders program held in conjunction with Harvard Business School. Jon is avid runner and active parent, in his spare time he can often be found trail running in the East Bay hills or exploring the Bay Area with his family.
