Justin provides research and analysis, content development, and media strategy.
Justin's professional engagements span politics, media and law. After a brief stint working in marketing for the nation-wide non-profit law firm Earthjustice, Justin entered the world of Advertising. He assisted in media buying, planning and competitive analysis for corporations such as Hertz Corporation, Progressive Insurance, Clear Channel, ABC, Golden West Financial and 7up. Justin has also worked on media buying for numerous California statewide political candidates, measures and propositionscollaborating with top political consultants Woodward & McDowell and McNally Temple. Moving to the campaign side of California politics, Justin was the Bay Area Director in charge of outreach and coalition building for the statewide campaign against Proposition 68, which was defeated by the largest margin of any ballot initiative in California history.
Justin has a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications from the
University of California at Berkeley and has done post-grad work at UC
Berkeley's Haas School for Business. Justin has a passion for the
outdoors that has taken him to all the continents of the world
backpacking, surfing and exploring. He is a brown belt in Aikido but
enjoys relaxing with a good book or his guitar.
