Pairing a creative background with keen strategic instincts, Brendan brings a fresh and relevant perspective to naming and brand strategy assignments

Portrait of Brendan

At Marshall Strategy, Brendan directs efforts in conceptual, creative, and content development. His formal artistic and cultural training provides him with a unique perspective on identity, brand strategy, and naming.

Having completed his MFA in Art Practice at Stanford, Brendan took an internship with Stone Yamashita Partners, an innovation strategy firm in San Francisco. There he worked with the head designers at Johnson & Johnson, crafting a strategy to facilitate Management’s understanding of the new design-centered dynamic in the consumer goods market. Now at Marshall, Brendan brings that same passion for innovation and smart design to strategic and creative assignments. He has applied his expertise to strategic assignments for technology, real estate, hospitality and entertainment clients.

Brendan has an undergraduate degree in Filmmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute, where he was a Bernard Osher Scholar. He has exhibited his films and art nationally and internationally, and has a piece in the permanent collection at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. Occasionally Brendan serves as the office mixologist (he takes his with a twist). When not at Marshall, his appetite for film, pop music, baseball and 20th century literature keeps him completely mesmerized.
